People i had to share this with you ,this is just a part of a email i have recived and i cannot believe my eyes what a joy .Have a read ......

Noooooooooooooooooooooo They are picture.com. Its a scam. Everyone wins and they try to charge you to get your awards. There are several threads already about them.

I got the same email this morning.had to dig this outta the garbage...rest assured IT IS A SCAM!

I get this kind of crap all the time, ignore it. If they want money, don't go near it.
Now, if someone wants to SEND a check, that's a different story ;-)

I cannot believe that scam has found its way in to photography as well ,i feel a bit stupid and naive at this very moment and now i know which site to join as a member and that is DPChallenge .Thanks

Don't feel bad about it. I got pretty excited the first time they told me that they were going to put my photo in a book.
I've found that checking this kind of stuff on google helps. Just type in the name of the company or organization + scam. It works well when shopping online too, if the place your thinking about ordering from isn't a place you already know. |

| Well when you are sent an invite to buy THE COFFEE TABLE BOOK don't waste you money. I got scammed November 07. Recieved the offer and paid it. Haven't received anything in regards to my book. PLEASSSSSEEEEE! Stay away. |

I actually did get my book and it is very nice but I wouldn't ever buy another. I haven't been back to that sight in a VERY long time.
Oh and the email, yes it is a sort of scam, if I remember correctly you have to pay shipping and handeling for your "prize" and it's a lot of money. |

photolaureates.com is another one like this, they told me i was selected out of thousands to be in this awesome book, basically I realized it was a scam, when they said, pay $90 to get this book with your photo in it. They get tons of people like that.
