I miss AZ, if I was there, I would be having a ball. Wasn't into photography when I was there. Wow, I really screwed up. Take advantage of a beautiful state!

I am one of the DPCers in the Phoenix area. I am going to get serious about organizing a GTG to Hieroglyphic Canyon in the Superstitions since few DPCers have been there at it is a nice close-in photo safari. That would even involve a minimum amount of driving for you to come up from Tucson. We should probably do that soon before it gets hot. :)

Btw, aznatural, kirbic recommended the airplane graveyard and the Titan Missle silo in Tucson as good photo ops. Of course, there is always The Arizona Sonaora Desert Museum, Old Tucson, Saguaro National Park and San Xavier Del Bac mission as great Tucson photography destinations to. What do you think about any of these possibilities?

the San Xavier is great is under renovation right now and half covered up.the Air and space center is across the road from my business and they have alot of nice stuff if anyone wants to go let me know
Also the flutterbys are neat there and at the Tucson Gardens too

anyone that wants to do a GTG lets plan it and I will host a Wrap up Dinner at my Home in the Gates pass area near old Tucson
so lets do it\

Sorry to intrude here, but since there are so many Arizonians in this thread I thought I'd ask. Has anybody been to Out of Africa up towards Sedona? This looks really amazing from their website, but websites are sometimes misleading. I thought if I had some time while in Sedona for a couple days I'd check it out. Thanks!

Didn't the Out of Africa Park relocate to that area last year? If it was I went to it when it was off the 87. I enjoyed it when it was at that location. It is supposed to be better now. Larger facility.

I am planing a trip to The Canyon De Chelly and Canyon del Muerto
around the week of the 7th of July, yes it is warm but in Tucson at that time we are in the 105+ by then and it is only high 80-mid 90s.
This will be by Horseback overnight for two days and the Photos we can take will be better than any jeep tour.
Here is a link to the site that does the trip and if anyone wants to join us this is going to be a blast.
My Major was Southwest Pre-Historic Culture and the Ruins are like no other in the World.
Here is the link let me know if you want to know more.
