i like it but dont think enough people are actually aware enough of past styles and movements to really do more than a superficial treatment.
for example, all the people who didn't know what 'art deco' was in 'Trends' ..

Retro as in 'retrospective' would be like the 'something old' challenge.

Retro was an Old Skool rave night at Angels in Burnley ... ah, those were the days : )

Lots of stuff that would qualify as "retro" is now "in" again. For example, the bellbottoms (3rd in Trends) would be something people could wear now.

Maybe this could be a relaxed challenge, where one could create the colors of old film photographs? |
