I just installed 2 monitors in my pc, but one of them is giving me a hard time. This is a picture of photo opened with photoshop:

Can u see de difference in reds? Ok, you might think "adjust your colors dummy" but NO! Here is the same pictured Saved in photoshop and now in the wallpaper on windows desktop:

See the reds? They are the same tone. Whats happening with photoshop?

Any info will be appreciated. Thanks!!!

One lcd, and one CRT? Calibration device maybe needed, but there's no guarantee that it would make it exactly alike.

I had 2 monitors until recently, and I could never get them to the exact same settings. What I wound up doing was optimizing one to print and one to internet...

I have the same problem - can't get the laptop screen and the CRT to calibrate the same.

are they two exact, matching monitors?

There's enough variance in each monitor that I don't think it matters... At least that's been my experience... The two monitors I mentioned above were identical models...

Disable colour management or profiles in photoshop. It's probably giving you a preview of how it thinks the image will look on paper by default.

Its suppose to give me the preview on BOTH monitors, right? I have a preview in one tone in one monitor and another previo in the other as you can see.

And yes, both monitors are well calibrated to each other. You can see this picture.

if you're running XP then you can't use a calibrator on both, u need to DL a fix from M$

you could however go into your display properties and adjust the colour on the screen you think is wrong using the advanced device settings and then save them as a seperate profile.. why is 1 screen lower than the other?

what model viewsonic's are you using? (alot of their TFT's are 18bit)
