I saw an add in a digital photo magazine the other day for a camera. This camera costs R230 000. (This is about $38 000-00).
WOW - Is there anybody here with these kinda cameras. Apparently this camera takes up to 35MP photos.
I can't see how you can use a camera like this for action photos (the processor speed for 35MP will be too slow).
Might only be able to take still photos.

And then when you are finished with taking photos, you get into your camera and drive home :-O

Well, the new Mamiya is 22Mp and shoots at 'up to 1.2fps'

Great, if you've got £7,000 spare.

The new 39MP 'blad is really gorgeous. Meant for pros shooting advertisements and stuff like that mostly. But people with the extra money to spend will spend it anyway whether they can use it or not. Same with anything else. My town if FILLED with 50 year old women driving around in Hummers. It's a treacherous road to the grocery store and without the Hummer they probably wouldn't make it.

I can't say I'd ever blow that much cash on a camera but what a fun toy that must be.

True, but the money. I heard that there is someone in Durban South Africa that rents out a camera like that - wonder what the rate is.

Personally - My Canon is enough for now. I hate spending that kinda money and in South Africa it is not wise to walk around with an expensive camera - You might find yourself "donating" the camera to the unemployed.
