I'm going to the World Baseball Classic tommorrow, USA v. Mexico at Chase Field (formerly Bank One Ballpark) in Phoenix.

I checked to make sure that my camera and lens were acceptable to take in as just a paying customer and they are by Chase Field and the Diamondbacks standards.

I'm just wondering if anyone went to any of the WBC games this weekend, and if you had any trouble getting your camera in?

I'm excited about it. Good starting pitcher for the US tomorrow (Jake Peavy) even though I was hoping for someone like Clemens, but he pitched against the Giants the other day.

The US's roster doesn't look as star filled as it was said to be, but still a lot of big name players to watch. Roster

Hey man, I take my D70 with my 70-300mm lens all the time to SF Giants games, so it shouldn't be a problem. I even had front row seats near the owner when I got my best shots, and nobody ever said a thing, both at the gate when they checked my bag and while I was shooting during the game. The only thing that I made sure I was aware of was that I wasn't getting in anyone's view of the game while I was shooting.
