| Thats true, I hadnt realized she said that. Im not an expert, Ive never done any in depth research into the subject, dont take what I say as fact, like I said, I only have ideas, and they are sometimes proved wrong. There are different types of psychics, maybe only some can see animal spirits? Just a thought. And maybe animal sightings arent as interesting or thougth provoking as human sightings so we dont hear about them as much. |

WOW... this was probably the most insane thing I have read in this entire thread. Over the course of history animals have been on this planet for millions and millions of years. You yourself Kivet are a native of America which only has a few hunder years of human history. To say that we are not living in a "wild" environment is crazy!!! This land that we are on now has been wild far longer than it has been inhabited by us humans. I cannot even begin to speculate as to how many more animals have died on this very ground I am on now compared to how many humans. So I ask again why are there not millions upon millions of animal and dinosour ghosts around??? Certainly not because the land is not wild!

Ok Jaywalk, now it doesn't bother me one way or another what your beliefs are re spirits/ghosts. But, I have to step up here. You say that America has only been inhabited by humans for a couple hundred years??? Are you only counting since the white people arrived? Hmmm, see there is a race of humans, Native Americans, that have been here for thousands, upon thousands, of years before that. So ,I can't see how you can imagine how many more animals have died compared to people. Do you know how much genocide was commited here in America, on this soil? There are spirits that were here long before concrete roads were laid.

Highly populated... yes! Are you really saying that you think that more humans have died than animals in America through the course of the entire history of this land??? Yes, there have been signs of humans here for thousands of years, but that is nothing compared to the millions and millions of years that other life has been here. Also Human life was not nearly as dense or as populated as any other. Going back to my comment on why there are no insect ghosts around. How many trillions and trillions more insects have dies over the course of history than have humans? They would be everywhere!! So speaking strictly as a numbers point of view (which was the basis behind this statement) your argument for lack of a better word is assinine! Apparently you find it hard to even rationalize how long this wolrd has even been around before homosapiens were even around. Even your very claim of humans being around for thousands of years in NOTHING but a drop int he bucket of total time that living organisms have been on this planet.

LOL...now I find some of this silly myself. LOL....
I don't keep track of how many animals have been around verses man. Did you know that the life of a fly only lasts three days? LOL..At least I remember reading that somewhere, so I guess that means there should be billions of fly spirits? I don't know.
The bee orbs that I was referring to were seen around a woman who was a bee keeper who also appeared. They were with her in life, so as they came back with her in how she appeared. I don't begin to understand the relation of human verses animal spirits. They, to me, just aren't as prevalent, but I don't know why. However, there have been cats and the like many times. There have even been Electronic Voice Phenomenon caught on tape of cats meowing when none were anywhere near the area. So sure, they are there as well, and just not as prevalent to me. I have no scientific explanations as to why, and like I said before, I really don't need any. If any do arise, I would be happy to hear them, but until then, that it is why it is called "paranormal" and not "normal".

OK... I'm bored with this now. I'm going to break out my Ouija Baord and try to contact the spirit of my dead lizard. Also I should start contacting all of the ant spirits that were scorned by me and maginfying glass when I was younger! :/
However I have just one final questions for Rose. Since you are an actual pshychic with true powers... any chance you can tell me what the lottery numbers will be tonight? It would help me a bunch! Thanks!

Actually, as I had stated....I wasn't referencing to your posting on animals, insects, bugs, etc. What I WAS posting on is your reference to America only being populated for the only the past few hundred years. I was correcting you & reminding you that this land was populated WAY before it became America.....& I wouldn't call it just "signs" of life being here. Native Americans were & still are here.
Now, I had already posted my thought before re:animal spirits. If you want to state my opinion, then please read my posts to see.
I think that debate can be a constructive & fun thing, but YOU are being extremely ignorant. My "argument" as you called it, was not assinine at all. I don't post to agrue here, maybe you should take a breather & think before you type, because some of your comments have been insulting.

Ha... you know, I started to type a reply but then stepped back and realized just how friggin rediculous this even is to argue. I've been laughing here for the past 5 minutes now that I would even bother attempt to disprove theories of Orbs and animal ghosts and whatever other schizophrenic stuff that you wack jobs believe in.
HA HA HA HAHA.... ahhhhhhhhh... I feel much better now!

No, psychics, or speaking for myself actually, cannot read things like "what are my winning numbers". If I could, well then, hell, I would be buying them myself. I rarely do and do quick pics at that. LOL....I do get the number 5 associatied with you though, but have no understanding as to why. And I have not looked at your profile, but will when I end this post just to see if there is any indication. One number may not help you though. Maybe it means to buy a $5 scratch ticket? LOL...But no, I cannot do such things.
EDITED TO ADD: Looked at your portfolio. I don't see any direct corrulation to the number five, unless you were born on the 5th day or the 5th month or both. Maybe it will be your next challenge score, or maybe you will make top 5 in the next challenge? LOL...I guess it remains to be seen.
What I get just comes to me or it doesn't. If ever I have the impression to give you winning numbers, I will certainly let you know and would be happy to help.

SERIOUS QUESTION ALERT:
I have posted two notes now in this thread which have been quickly dismissed or unanswered. I said that cameras can only take pictures of light, so there's no reason to think that they can capture ghost images that we can't see with our own eyes. Several people blew that off saying that cameras can capture infrared light, but that's completely irrelevant since none of the images in this thread are infrared photos. Another person said that leaving the shutter open for 30 seconds shows things that we can't see with the naked eye. Again, none of these photos were time exposures, so that's irrelevant to this discussion as well. Time exposures and infrared shots are cool and can show us neat things in a single image that we wouldn't see otherwise, but I'm asking now about these "orb" photos.
My question is this: Do regular, unmodified cameras with regular, unmodified lenses (such as my Canon Digital Rebel with a plain old 17-40mm lens) capture any kind of light other than what we can see with the naked eye? If not, then all these "orb" photo must be explained as dust reflecting the flash. If so, then the "orbs" must be visible only in that spectrum of light, which would seem to make them pretty easy to find by using readily available equipment.
Again, I'm not mocking anyone's theories here, I just don't understand why people think that regular cameras can see anything that we can't see with our eyes. If this isn't true, I'd really like to know. Thanks!

Well, I am not able to answer any technical camera questions, as I don't feel I'm qualified to. But, I'm sure some people have seen things - orbs, etc. & I'm not saying every orb picture has had a sighting to go with it. Just wanted to add that some people do have visual experiences.......

Cameras, who knows. I don't. I am still learning how to use my D50, much less know why digitals can pick up images we can't see.
By the way JayWalk, the number 5. I want to say 5K. Does that ring a bell? I don't know what 5K can relate to, but I am getting a 5K. Also, I believe there are one or two number 5's in your home address numbers? Just putting myself out there for ya. You could very well say 'no, means not a thing', but go back to at least 2003 when remembering.
Back to cameras, all I know is that a digital camera is taken very readily by ghost hunting teams for investigations. I can probably find out more answers by going back to my old "haunts", so to speak, and looking up the information again on why digitals can do this. I have no idea myself though.

To the person with the camera question, there is a site you can go to. The Atlantic Paranormal Society, otherwise known as TAPS. They have a plethora of technical equipment information there, and you can post on the forums to get your answers. You just have to register, but you can read the forums without registering as well. There may be information in there to help. I've read photos there as well in the past, but haven't been there now for some months. I got too busy with my own photography that didn't involve spirits....LOL..but it is a nice place.
