It all depends on the conditions of when the photos were taken, they will be orbs if they is no rain, dust, snow or smoke.
Digital cameras also pic up orbs easier then analogue it is extremely hard to pick them up on the analogue but it can be done...

Anyways thats my 2 cents worth lol

Just disappointing to see that so many grown adults still believe this pseudo-science malarkey.

Not going to drag me into your argument, and hopefully everyone else will ignore this as well.

I don't know what it is or what it's not but what does it appear to be to you? I think I took this shot with my Panasonic FZ-20 with no filter. Looks like shadows but I don't know.

Ok, just got back from the store.

I have looked up the period of clothing he has on, and I actually want to say the 1700's has the closest resemblance, but from that era but not this country. I also don't believe this guy was buried on his home ground. Wherever he is from, he was never brought back there for burial. I also get more of a Matthew, or Matthow, it is a bid odd the name. Hard to actually pronounce with words. Sounds like "Matt-ou" to spell it out for you.

Anyway, I don't know where this was taken, but I would look around for some stones. Each cemetery usually has an older section of stones (at least where I live). Check around and see what you see there for stone names or see if anything clicks. I am going to say this guy died in the early 1800's at about 30 years of age. That is something to go on. Good luck!

Yes, ignore non-believer, stick your colective heads in the sand and the reality won't drown out the fairy-tale.

Alabama
Newton
Choctawhatchee River Bridge
A shallow hole near the bank of this river is haunted. Locals say that even if the hole is filled with dirt during the day, by morning it will be empty and clean-swept. Highway workers once filled up the hole with dirt and pitched their tent directly on top of it, but the next morning the haunted hole was completely dug out again. The ghost of Bill Sketoe, former pastor of the Methodist Church, seems the likely cause. He was hanged on December 3, 1864, from an old tree that once stood on the spot. A group of vigilantes accused Sketoe of being a traitor to the Confederacy. In fact, Sketoe was totally innocent. At the lynching, the tree limb holding Sketoe's body bent enough so that his toes touched the ground, and the men had to hastily dig a hole beneath his feet, and the rope slowly strangled him to death. The six men soon started telling stories of meeting the innocent pastor's ghost, and eventually they all died violent deaths. For many years locals reported seeing Sketoe's vengeful phantom.(Newton is in the southeast corner of Alabama, northwest of Dothan on Highway 123. The oak tree was located where the old bridge crossed the Choctwhatchee River on the road from Newton. The hole is still there, next to the new concrete bridge. It is about thirty inches wide and eight inches deep. Bill Sketoe's grave is in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.)Bibliography: Hauck, Dennis. I have been to Dothan. We all love it there! Very interesting story, and I won't say more than that right now. Have you had any "other" experiences? I bet you have.

It's too small. Do you have a larger pic?

My first impression without a larger photo is that of an older man leaning in from the door on the left. Baldish, a bit of a gut, a bit of white hair on either side of the head, nice eyes, nice guy. Would like a larger pic though. It is like trying to do a reading through a small tube when pics are too small, so if you have a larger one, pass it on.

Yes, thats right. And I bet you see him more often then you are willing to admit. I also see a problem with keys. You find keys missing, or there are keys still missing you haven't found, along with jewelry. He is not liking something. Sort of a kind of admonishment. Do you own a car that maybe needs fixing or a home that needs fixing? Whatever the keys belong to, that is the message, which is to fix it up. He sends you messages like that.

Sometimes I bet you even hear a whisper or a thought you think is from him? You think sometimes you are not all there..LOL..but it is him. Now I am getting a photo moved or tilted most of the time and you have to straighten it? If you haven't noticed that yet, then look around. Most likely it will be an old family photo or one of himself. He is with you now and then. He likes to keep tabs on you as he knows you haven't forgotten him.

I better stop there. I really just let my mind do the typing, but then I have to put on the breaks so I can get some validation or a "no, that doesn't happen" so I know I am on the proper path or not psychically. By the way, you have psychic ability. But you probably know that already :)

It might have been the size of the photo that put you off but I half expected you to pick up on the fact that this is a demonic spirit. (definately not a nice one). This was taken at the house that is the subject of the Discovery Channel's The Haunting - Hell House. I probably can find a larger pic for you. I am sure we have it on dvd in our case files. I think they are discussing the photo on the discoverychannel website too but I will see what I can dig up so you can get a better look at it.

Hell house? LOL... I see nothing wrong, so far, with this photo at all. All I see is a very nice old man peaking out from behind the door.

Not to knock the Discorvery Channels discorveries, there are often many different spirits in a house. They can date as far back as the first person who stood or died on those grounds, to the evil, to the nice, to the recent. So they may have their own psychic impressions, however, mine is definately, and initially, not that of evil.

Rose,

I'd love to hear what you have to say about the photo I posted earlier and that I emailed to you.

Billy

p.s. By the way... orbs have been observed on film, digital, and video under lab conditions/clean rooms, ruling out the dirty lens, the spotted mirror and all that other stuff that people throw out there to consider! So to say that all are dust, rain, moisture, etc.. is going a bit far for me to accept.

Dude! Where have you been????

Been travelling a lot with work and now possibly moving to Milan... and most importantly I have a baby on the way!!! So it's sort of limited my photo time. Hopefully I'll get back in the swing of it again soon.

I found this picture in my collection. When I first took it I thought it was just some cool creepy door and I couldn't see anything. However, when I looked at more closely I could see something:

Just an old door.... or perhaps a portal to another dimension???? You be the judge!
