I was a little disappointed in the less then average (45%) placement of my free study. I really loved the subject and I want to do it justice.

Soon... I will go back a reshoot. One problem: I only got 2 comments. So this is a shameless grovel for constructive criticism to consider as I reshoot. I really want to learn from this. I’m thick skinned, so be honest.

I’m taking some backgrounds to hold up and a flash to fill-flash a little.

To help, I posted some unfinished and out-of-camera out-takes.

Thanks,
Stephen

I gave it a 6. It's a well done, technically good shot, but I just don't care for shots of statues much. To score well, a shot typically has to have more than a static object or objects.. it has to tell a story, or at least have interesting people or pretty colors and shapes.

I'd have to agree with the MadMan
