Idol blew chunks tonight. OMG, I won;t vote for ANYONE tonight. They ALL sucked, big time. That little DPC Idol thread we had was better.

Being a country music fan, I was very disappointed last night. Out of all the hundreds of thousands of country songs, they pick that hokey crap? The best songs of the night were the Keith Urban songs (Chris, Ace). The worst were Mandisa (Shania song? YUCK), McPhee (Cheesy "Bringing out the Elvis" song) and Paris (suprisingly, she couldn't match Trisha Yearwood).
Chris was the best again.
The best female vocalists did the worst tonight, IMO.

WTF was that about?! It's gotta be rigged! There is no way it could have been like that.

I think Katherine's version was excellent. I liked Chris too, plus Bucky did his song justice despite the fact that I think his stay on Idol is short lived. I think choosing country as even a genre is crazy. Country singers rarely cross over to pop except for the likes of Faith Hill and maybe the Keith Urbans but generally you can't throw people that type of music list and expect them to do it well.
Did I hear Queen next week? Holy moses.

He's been going on looks since day 1!
Then again, I'm still pickin' Pickler... mainly because she's hot. So I'm hypocritical.

I really was disappointed in Chris. I really thought he would ROCK!!!! I was hoping Taylor would pick that song,he did pretty good.I didn't care to much for Katherine's song, and Kelli sure showed another side of herself tonight.Elliott might be in the bottom again! |

If you are going to kick a mic stand, make sure you actually make contact. Other than that Taylor's performance was good. I have a soft spot for Bucky and thought he picked the perfect Queen song for himself. Pickler is another story. That was a complete trainwreck. I was flipping back and forth between AI and America's Next Top Model and thought Kelly would have been perfect for that show. She'd sound like a rocket scientist compared to some of the contestants.
Simon was right when he stated this could have been a moment for Chris.....it definately wasn't.
I really wanted to Like Katherine tonight WWTLF is one of my favourite songs, but she sounded shaky and thin.
I do believe Chris will end of winning this year. |

90% of the time, my girlfriend and I are saying exactly what Simon says before he says it...I'm glad he actually has enough balls to say what he thinks and not lie. That being said...
Tonight *could* have been a moment for Chris, but he picked a horrible song. Face it, when you listen to someone sing, you want to hear a song you've heard before...if you've never heard the song, it doesn't matter how good it's sung -- you can't tell anyway, and you just can't get into it.
Buckey did awesome -- he was my clear favorite this week. Buckey is probably my second favorite...he could be on the radio or on a stage at a concert, no doubt about it.
Pickler is my third favorite -- she did good this week.
Ace needs to go. Taylor needs to go. And everyone else...sorry, but I just don't even know their names...so that must mean they are expendable as well.

If Elliot and Ace sang last night like they did tonight they may not have been in the bottom 3. Guess the pressure was off? No time to think about it and get worked up? I'm not really a fan of either one of them, but thought it was interesting to see. |

Well that sucks. Ace should have went before Bucky. His performances have been lacking. And what was up with his pants last night. Leather? BAGGY LEATHER? They were most unfortunate.
And I am so tired of the Pickle. She bugs.
Guess that leaves Chris. But he seriously needs to step away from the guyliner and coiffed eyebrows. I am getting a Dave Navarro vibe. Kind of hoping he shows up next week sporting tight leather pants and a pink boa. That would make an interesting minute thirty seconds. |

I haven't watched last nights or tonights, but I am very disappointed Bucky's gone. And before Ace is what gets me. I've rooted from Bucky from the start, a little holdover from BO last year. Now I have no one, maybe Chris if he stops screaming at me and looking like he's going to pop a vein in his neck. |

Honestly I thought tonight was gonna suck-- another "Old Song" show, but WOW!
Probably the best group of performances so far..
I cant pick a favorite, thought they all did well, on that note, Never been been a Katherine Fan, but that girl can sing!

I could be wrong, but I think Pickler is safe, I think her fan base will carry her to the top 3.
Looking back I cant predict who is gonna go 2mor, If it was me Id say Paris, but who knows??
For the record-- I got through on voting, and had to Support Chris!
