Bucky gave me the goosebumps tonight. Chris was very good but not his best. Taylor was fun and funny but I didn't think he showed his voice well tonight. I'm becoming less of an Ace fan after his last two songs.
Chris will be our next American Idol.
Bobby Brady and Chicken Little will go tomorrow night.

Sure Gideon's scary, but so is Prince! :D His performance was very good, and so was Taylor Hicks. Ace should be doing everything he can to remind us he is a man, and singing Michael Jackson songs falsetto isn't going to do it. I can't believe Paula said he was better than the original. She is a total lustbunny. Then again, Simon cuts Ace a lot of slack, too. Interesting...
And... I liked Kevin's performance!
Ok, now I was right last week so I am 100% accurate in my predictions...
This week I predict that Will and Kevin are going home.
I missed the women's show, so no prediction there.
p.s. If *I* could choose, I would send home Will and Ace.

I thought Ace was horrible last night. What were the judges listening to?? I could not believe they liked it. I thought it was painful to listen to.
I, too, think Kevin sings really well. I don't think he's Idol material but he really is a good singer. Especially for 16.
I don't care much for Ayla either.
I agree with Faye, I think Kevin and Will are going tonight.
As for the girls, I think Kinnik and Melissa will go.
My TOP FIVE are... Chris, Elliott, Kellie, Paris, and Mandisa.

Stevie Wonder AGAIN? Geesh. I am getting tired of all the Wonder songs.
Ace. He was so great on his first performance when fighting for top 12 with his Duran Duran song. But he is slacking since, IMO. Too bad. I had such high hopes for him.
Elliot Yamin is the best of the boys. Then the bald guy comes second. Then Taylor Hicks. I really don't think the girls will pull it off this year. MAYBE Katherine, but unless she is holding something back till later, I think we have seen all she can do. Not sure it is enough. Elliot is the one who will sell the records, and win the comp, is my guess.

Chris is gonna win this unless he sings Happy_birthday for the rest of his songs!
He is by far the best..
Taylor, Bucky, Mandissa, you all rocked tonite also-- we will see more of you..

Gray (Taylor) and Paris are my favorite. The bald is guy is excellent but I'm not a headbanger...he's my BF's favorite...I'm country and jazz....so I lllooovee Gray....and Paris.

| my favourites tonight were Paris, then Taylor Hicks and then Chris in that order, and maybe mandisa in 4th place... Ace was terrible and I cant stand Kevin (chicken little)... As far as who is going home tomorrow its hard to tell, there were quite a few not so good perfomances but hopefully it will be Kevin. |

Last week I picked my top five: Chris, Elliott, Kellie, Paris, and Mandisa.
This week I'm going to say Chris, Paris and Kellie will be in the top three. Kellie may not be as good as Elliott (yet, anyway) but she has the cute, innocent country girl factor that will bring her votes.
I'm a big Chris fan but I must say, I think Paris is going to win. I love Taylor, too.

Bucky kicked arse. BTW, his grandmother and a bunch of people were having a party at a bar in Orange Beach, AL. He's a local icon now.
Chirs rocked as usual too.

Well, I just found this thread, and I would like to say that last night was not as good as it should have been. I think Kevin should have left, I think he can sing OK, BUT he just does not have IT!
My top picks:
4th: Kathrine
3rd: Elliot
2nd: Mandisa
1st: Chris
Out of these 4 I must say that Kathrine is my favorite, but I have felt from the first show that Chris will win, based on the reaction of everyone I talk to and the audience tonight.
Enough about that...talk to you next week. |
