I meant to enter this in the duotone challenge, but due to PS problems didn't get it edited in time. I would welcome any critiques or comments on the image. Thanks. :)

It's a nice, crisp, bw portrait of a cat's face. I haven't peeked at the challenge entries yet, but would guess this would be a lower middle finish. It's good, but not WOW good. A 5 from me (but I don't much like cats). :)

Thanks for comments Ken and Ron. Don't understand why you don't like cats, though, Ken. They're cute and harmless and . . . fanged. :)

I like your cat picture too, Ron.

Cool shot. Ken is probably right about the placing if it were in the challenge. With 600 plus entries, gonna take a lot of 'wow' to place highly :-)

Blue eyes. That is rare. Great reflection in the cat's eyes.

I think it's a genetic thing. I didn't think I liked any animals, but since my wife got the dogs, they have really grown on me. We have two cats also, but they don't do much since they are both buried in the back yard. They both died a few years ago. I am just waiting for the day Frankie digs them up. :P

I said I don't much like cats, but I have been impressed by some of the cat photos here. Yours is especially good also. :)

Hee, hee. I can tell the dogs have grown on you. Quite a few photos of them. I really like the soft focus one of Frankie with his eyes riveted on the camera. I do hope Frankie lets your cats rest in peace, though!

How's this for rare cat eyes, actually called 'odd-eyed'
An odd couple that are oddly alike
And my duotone cat version
OK got the showing off of the pets out of my system. They get easily marked down in competitions unless supurbly done.
