I have a good friend who has been advising me on which accessories to buy for my camera. She forgot I had a Canon - thought I was shooting with a Nikon and suggested the Nikon SB-600 flash.

I got it yesterday and have tried it out and I LOVE it. But am I not able to use features that I'd be able to have with a Canon brand flash? The Nikon seems to have an i-TTL mode that 'communicates' with the camera, yet I can only use the TTL mode. And the Canon seems to have an E-TTL mode...

Honestly, I don't even know enough about the flash yet to know if I'm missing anything with these modes. Are they something special? Do they actually differ from the regular TTL mode? Am I making any sense? LOL

I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone may have.

Thank you!

Sonya
