okay... i was going to ask this in the duotones forum but i read their posts and i am, quite frankly, afraid of them.

does anyone know wether you can modify a photo to b/w or sepia from a color original and not get DQed for the duotones contest?

Yes you can. Not all cams can even do b&w on their own. In cases of extreme doubt pm the SC

whats sad is that ive been on this sight for a year and i dont know how to "PM the SC".

im not even sure what SC stands for.

LOL that's ok. SC is the Site council, a group of volunteers who maintain and keep peace and monitor the site. Go to Help> Contact> General Question. or look for the people with the heads that are in color and have cool features like hats. Those are all site council folks.
