...can someone comment on why this shot did so poorly?
This is not a complaint thread even though I though it was worthy of more than it scored and find it hard to understand five 1's, five 2's, and twenty-two 3's...
I can't believe I went though the whole challenge and mine is the only one that received NO comments, a first for me..

The picture looks over sharpened on my screen. I don’t like the border and the composition seems to me a little bit awkward. I gave it 5.

I want to thank each one of you for commenting. I had a feeling why it did not score as well as I had hoped but without a single comment to help confirm my suspicions I didn't know for sure. Each one of you offered up great feedback for me to take and learn with and for that, Thank you.

I've only entered one challenge so I'm new here but to me it seems that in general the people giving scores of 1, 2, 3 don't seem to leave comments very often despite that being encouraged in the challenge guidelines. These are the ones people could probably learn the most from, yet most comments seem to come from those that rate a photo 6 to 10. The photographer is then left wondering why he/she got a bunch of low scores, perhaps despite lots of positive comments from others.

I made a point of it to always comment why i think a photo is a 1-3.
