The imagery is not what bothers me about this... it's the camera man's total disregard for human life that offends me.

"That's Beautiful!" ... ??? WTF

? I hope nobody is offended by this but I don't really understand why you would care.

When was the last time you were actually in a situation where you actually needed to drive like a crazy mo fo to evade the cops?

I don't think it's fair to say that the camera man has total disregard for human life, I'd say it is far more likely that the driver of that car has total disregard for human life.

There was far more emotional impact for me when I saw him hit that family sedan in the first few seconds and I was genuinely worried that as he sailed across into oncoming traffic that he would take out a family coming in the opposite direction.

This happened outside my house when I was younger. We lived on a long straight main road. One night a drunk guy driving at about 90kph came over a hill and either fell asleep or lost control or wasn't paying attention or something. He came right across and smashed up 3 cars. He hit a doctor who was driving home from a late shift in a volvo. He was very lucky he was in a volvo, as he wasn't killed. He was still hurt though. He could have been killed.

As far as the ragdoll on the highway, it happens all the time to people driving along innocently, so no need to get all worried about it when it happens to some guy stupid enough to run from the cops.

Well I didn't listen to the vid....kids in the next room and all but that just reminded me of a little thing called karma.

If you're going to click a link that says "BEWARE this is GRAPHIC"...

DONT BE A LITTLE CRYBABY ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally, I think that's the sweetest thing I've seen all day...and I watched an hour's worth of The Greatest Sports Disasters earlier -- which included people getting stomped by bulls, people on fire, people fighting at soccer and hockey games...and that by far takes the cake...AWESOME!

I really wish they would get more aggressive in stopping people who run from the police. a chase should be ended before it endangers other people and if the bad guy gets killed during the stop, so what , that means my tax $$ wont have to go to feed them in prison, or pay for their cable TV behind bars.

I recently heard in LA the LAPD will test a new dart GPS system they can shoot at a vehicle and then just back off and follow the tracking signal.

This is pointless because if someone is dumb enough to run from the police they wont slow down once the cops back down after they hit the car with a GPS dart. even with helicopters over head people still try to our run the cops at high speeds. I guess these idiots will never learn.

ROFL.

Wonder how much cleaner it will take to get the body parts off the underside of that black car.

Yeah, but we have the 2006 Darwin award winner already.

STUPIDITY

I feel bad for the 16 year old girl that is going to forever second guess her action when she probably did nothing wrong.

it only takes 1 to car driving like that to kill innocent people, the other 9 with the pretty lights on top, Im not worried about. its the crazy person running from them that scares me and they need to be stopped.

Here in Aus we have the most car chases in the world and the police have been in all sorts of trouble last year for being too aggressive. I dont know the statistics but it was something on the lines of 80% of the chases were for TRAFFIC offences and there have been 21 deaths that would of been avoided if the stopped the pursuits.

so you’re saying its ok to run from the cops? why should we allow people run from the police and get away with what ever crime it was they did. TRAFFIC offenses are a crime, not as bad as murder, but its still a crime. And I don’t understand how anybody can sympathize with someone who ran from the police (which is against the law)

I under stand it’s a VERY fine line here. People want police to stop crime, but they don’t want the police to do what is needed to stop them from getting away. then the public wonders why their crime rates keep going up and get mad at the police for not stopping crime.

im not saying that its ok to run from the police im just against having 21 innocents killed when the police could just look up the rego and arrest them later.

I forgot to mention the it was the police crashing in a lot of those cases.

Just so we are clear here on DPChallenge. If you ever have the chance to meet me on duty and I tell you to stop and put your hands up Please do it. I don't like shooting people it's messy and it really hurts. I would rather beat you with my Asp. So if I say STOP and put your hands up I wanna hear you say LIKE THIS as you are doing it. Just kidding I wouldn't really shoot you or beat you. But don't mistake my kindness for a weakness. You're still going to jail if you broke the law. I would prefer to do things the easy and nice way not the hard and fun way.
