I'm getting crucified. I think some people may not exactly understand my shot, or appreciate techniques that were used, or more specifically, what Photoshop tools WERE NOT used. Maybe I was too abstract! Oh well, on to the next challenge.

Seems like, with a few exceptions, this is going to be a really low-scoring challenge. I have to admit I am very disappointed with my score, too. And it's still dropping :(

So, how did all of you title your entries? Did you put something in your title that could act as a clue towards the identity of the subject matter, maybe you were even blatant about it, or did you come with an abstract title, too?
Personnally, I went for a more abstract title, and I'm sitting at a 5.5 with 0 comments.
What say you?

Slow climb from my first check way early this morning. I started out at about 4.7 and have scooted up to where I am now. I don't expect my score to go much higher then it is right now, but I do expect it to drop down a bit.
I am kind of bummed, I looked through the previous Abstract challenge and attempted to emulate some of the more higher scoring abstracts. I think I probably should have gone a little tighter with my crop.
My title, is just a direction of thought that has nothing to do with what I shot. |

Yeah, I had a hard time with this one too. I was SO close to not entering and probably should have left it that way...LOL I am drifting between 4.6 & 5.2. I have a feeling I may have some 7-8's, as well as some 3's & 4's.

| My title gave a possible small glimpse into my shot, but for the most part I tried to stay away from giving away what the picture was of since this is an abstract challenge. Oh well :) |

it seems that I shine in those low-scoring challenges: I've got five ribbons now, and all of them are below 7.0. Hey, ribbon is a ribbon, I'll take it with any score :). Actually, i find those "challenging" challenges more interesting.

When I woke up this morning my score was at 7.2xxx, and it dropped steadily throughout most of the day! Seems to have leveled out for now, though...
Got some nice comments, and 2 favorites is great, too!

To combat the trolls, the voting system has been recoded. 1s are now 10s and 10s are now 1s.
This is only possible explaination I can give for me having 2 images at 5+. LOL

I'll second that, my score plummeted overnight. Never experienced such a plummet like that before, especially in a member's challenge. I must have been away for too long. |
