LOL, that is so true. I usually don't post my scores, but this one just has my mind reeling. I was sure this was going to be a 6+ scoring image. I beleive it is that good. Go figure.

| I'm in the same boat as the rest of you guys -- entered a shot I LOVE, thought it was a 6+ image, went to bed at two votes and a 6.0 last night, woke up to 18 votes and a 4.2222 this morning. (!!!!) I mean, come on, this is lower than my Free Study IX entry which was on the next to last page of results and had a serious focus problem! My BLUE entry, which I'd meant to pull before the challenge started and forgot, is doing better at a 4.75. It's crazy. This is the kind of thing that makes me want to say to heck with it and give up on DPC. (it's not just low scores, I can handle low scores, it's low scores where I truly don't think they belong that miff me.) |

I think they should take the update button away and hide the scores during voting. Force everyone to vote how they feel about the image they are looking at - not how they feel "in comparison to how their own image is doing".

This is not a bad idea. Trolls breed other trolls. It is difficult to give out those deserved high scores, when you feel the same is not being done to you.

or how about only being to check your score once you have finished voting? SO once you are happy with your voting you click a finished voting button. This then allows you to see and update your score oprogress.
This would make people vote. And also as you say give their honest score without being annoyed at their own?? |

I'd freakin' disgusted ... my Blue entry from mid 7's last night to low 5's this morning... and trolls are eating my Free Study alive... from high 7's to mid fours right now...
My Blue entry, yes maybe a mid 5, it should get. But my free study... definitely low to mid sixes would be more appropriate.
eff and effin' troll voter...
