By my calculation, I am reieving approximatley 1.5 votes per hour for the past 46 hours. If this continues I should have 252 votes by the end of this contest.
For the number of entries, this sucks.
I call again for a block to keep members from updating their numbers until their voting is done. If you are going to enter a contest you should at least have to participate in the voting. If you don't then you wait till the end of the contest to see your shot, position and numbers. If you are that busy, then you don't update anyway.

Then they won't care if they see there votes every few minutes or not. Unbiased would indicate to me that they don't care in any way and they would probably ask for my request as this would rwmove any biases the voter may have.
If you don't know what you are getting then you can't try to shade the vote. |

Exactly! I haven´t voted on a challenge I have been in since early 2005 with the exception of the best of 2005. I am doing my share in "romance" and "your shadow II", just finished romance and just got started on shadows.

I have 1 comment and a mid 4 range score. I think having "Free Study" so close after a "Best of" challenge was a mistake. I think folks are tired of my "type" photo and I shoulda (woulda, coulda) submitted something other than what I did submit.
There are some great entries out there.......but like I said, too many similar shots as the "Best of 2005".
I don't stand a chance............ |

| To not vote in a challenge that you enter because your afraid of being biased is BS to me and unfair to everyone else taking the time to vote and enter challenges. This happend in best of 2005 and I like most only recieved half the number of votes than pictures entered. This lack of partisipation is just being lazy and letting everyone else do the work for you.just my two cents |

I do the exact opposite. I don't vote in all challenges, but make sure to vote in the ones that I enter. I feel like i'm doing my part that way. I have no problem being unbiased. If a photo is a 10, then its a 10. Doesn't matter if mines a 5 :), the 10 will still be a 10.
I'm still plugging away at my voting on Free Study though, there are just so many photos! |

Sorry but where do you get off critizising other people like that? You yourself have gotten more votes than you have handed out so obviously you yourself have not voted on all the challenges you have entered...

Ouch ... my score just got a -5 vote (no new votes). Someone really changed his/her mind on my entry and bumped me down?
Maybe they just missed the 0, they meant to bump me up to 10 not down to 1 ... LOL

5.88+ actually surprising to me, I don't think it is 'worthy' of those high scores. Seriously though every time I vote on a few, when I check mine again, the score goes down. Maybe I should stop voting

on many challenges I have recived more votes than pictures in that challenge so that would add up to more recived that given OK |
