| I noticed that some entries relied on the "idea" of blue, like in a written word or the mood of the image. I liked that, but still I felt that some clear and interesting use of the actual color blue to support the ideea (even just a small bright spot) was more in line with the contest. |

There are lots of ways to meet the challenge..like all challenges :-)
If someone has a great blue sky...go with it! If someone has a great shot of a blue object..cool! If someone is expressing a blue emotion but not a lot of actual blue pixels...great! I mean....diverse choices are nice...no matter how out of the box or how stock.
I am in the mid 5's..nothing great or horrible. I definitely like seeing all the possiblities for comparison and I am not going to let my middle of the road score keep me from voting others way above me!

| Well i have lots of blue in mine and it emotes blue- at least I think it does. Apprently it must be along the "dull" lines because I have yet to go above a 5.1 |

On the other hand the two comments I had - other than yawn - and a PM from someone about image sizes were very helpful and educational. This really is a good place to learn stuff.
Oh yeah! I love the diversity of interpretation a lot - even my wife has noted that I am becoming more lateral in my interpretation of the challenges. Well, what she said was: "Look! These are so imaginative! Why can't you do something like this?" but you know what I mean :-)

Ha! Good one Deb! Believe it or not, my entry was yet again another last minute entry (I seem to have developed that really bad habit). I shot it Monday night and edited the entry here at work on Tuesday ;( However, my last minute entries seem to have found great luck recently ;)

| Hey, is something going on? I have dropped from 6.58 to 6.25 since noon. The last comment I had said it didn't look real. Of course its a bag so how can I defend myself. I wonder how many others are voting it down thinking It isn't real.....ARRGGGHHHH! |

Down here as well..Altho I go from 5.0 to 5.1 and back on this one, so I have stopped caring.
I have noticed an unusual number of bags tho...Of my 6 comments do far, 5 are bags. Seems like more then before , or is it just me noticing more? |

Rae-Ann, about the bagheads - I dunno, I have only two comments :( Though one of them is a baghead, so that's fully 50%.
my score has also gone down today by about a tenth of a point. |
