My kids all got digital cameras (little cheapies) this Christmas...and Clay, my youngest, has had a BLAST taking pictures with his 2.1MP Digital Concepts camera. I uploaded several of his (the ones we thought were the best) to my smugmug site and thought I'd share them with you. I resized and sharpened the first three, but decided to just let the others be as-is from the camera...nothing like the purity of a kid's vision.

I think he has a great eye for composition...might be registering him as a user soon! :)

Numbers 7 & 8 are pretty cool, and even 17 shows some promise. Definitely a kid to keep an eye on ;o)

My favorite is #7. I'm not sure why, I guess I just like pictures of mundane stuff.

Looks like you have some talent on your hands, but he needs to work on his PP, lol.

Landscape 1 and image #7 are very nice. He's off to a great start.

Looks like he's going to take after mom, eh?

He certainly has a natural eye for composition. He sets his subject off center, impressive for a 5 year old. The lower perspective is adorable :-) You’re such a cool Mom to get them their own camera's.

isn't the world a big wonderous place from their angle? everything that we look down on is something they want to conquer....kinda scary how looking down takes the challenge out of our world isn't it.

he really does have a good eye. Looks like the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree.

You edited out all the ones he took of YOU, Laurie! I'd love to see what MOM looks like to him! Cool stuff, regardless. Love the low angle, LOL.
