There ya go ;-)

LOL... for the DNMC nazis, here is your unofficial, "official" swatch for voting on the challenge :-P

Oh great, the DNMC nazis... I really wonder, would anyone really question the cyan version as not meeting the challenge? I mean, just how anal can some people get? Come on people, raise your hands if you really think "cyanesque" images don´t meet the challenge?

Just to clarify, I am not implying you are a "DNMC nazi" fotomann :)

Not raising my hand... :-P

My motto on this challenge: If it's not Red or Green or Yellow or Magenta it's BLUE! LOL

What about the "blue mood" type shots. I may shoot a last min entry. Last min because I had a friend try to commit suscide and another friends mother did manage to pull it off(despite the doctors best efforts for 2 days). So blue mood suites me better than the color.

*edit spelling*

Would fit the challenge as far as I am concerned but as long as it´s visible in the shot that the person is indeed "blue" and doesn´t really need the title to explain it... I encourage you to try it out :)

Well, suit yourself but here's the challenge description:

Take a photograph in the theme of the color blue.

I don't know how much more specific than that they can get...

I am with bear_music on this one..I even double checked the description for the same reason...It really clearly says COLOUR blue, not just blue. Of Course, for my 2 cents, cyan will be fine :))
Take your sad subject and put a blue hat on 'em ...lol

edited...I guess it says COLOR blue, crazy american spelling JK!!

Hey Justin, I just read your Whole post...Please understand I was not trying to be unsensitive to your situation. I regret that I did not see all the circumstances and was simply commenting on the concept for the challenge. Please accept my apologies, and know that wasn't meant for you ( the blue hat comment !)

I am sorry for your loss, I hope things look up in your neck of the woods soon.

Yea, it seems to be a challenging contest.
I am trying to redeem myself after my City Life contest...maybe I should have picked another contest.
(up to 300+ submissions)

My entry is in.
Not really what I would have liked but my day job is currently draining me of creativity.
At least I'll find out how the update button works...

Im in, the subject may be too simple but it is blue, very blue. Not that meeting the challenge has ever given me a leg up or anything. Im sure after my first update tonight Ill be even more blue.

Im waiting for the green challenge.

Since romance is something that is missing in my life at the moment, I couldn't torture myself trying to come up with a shot so never even considered that one. Blue, however, presented me with many opportunities. Unfortunately only one of them worked how I envisioned it so that is what I am entering. Never knew blue was so hard to work with in an editor. Very finicky color. Almost worse than red is. Not sure about my title though...may change before midnight.

My first full challenge with the update button as well!! Sadly to, I only have one shot that I would vaguely consider entering...I am having a hard time with this one...the battery door on the ghetto cam busting doesn't help :( Ill try some more this afternoon...

Yay new update buttons!!! :))

Well I will say it is the "Theme of the color blue" to me this can suggest emotions as well.

Also I didn't lose any one Rae-Ann, almost lost one and a freind lost his mother, I consider myself lucky dispite sitting in an ER romm with a depressed raving girl who dosent seem to understand that overdosing on tyelonol may not kill instantly but take weeks/months through liver damage (nasty way to go) But the docs gave her a clean bill of health and sent to a mental ward for observation. My other friend I feel for him in his loss. all in all a screwy weekend. I will just do the shot with some blue light..I like the idea ;)

(blushing) O You boys !
All this charm isn't really making me think blue :)
seven and a half hours to go...

And Bear, if or when I am in your neck of the woods, yours will be the first kitchen I'll land in ! Get a fork and set up a tripod :))

Okay, I just resubmitted my Blue. It has new and improved Blueness.

It's a shame that out of 5 monitors on my desk that the only one that is color managed is the laptop LCD. Makes me nervous, because my images looks bad on the CRTs. To be fair, the grey background on DPC looks beige on the other monitors.
