Sorry about the poor shot - if I'd noticed at the time I would've made sure I got a good one!

More shots (same track, different meeting) here. Comments appreciated.

Man, I love those little cars. I guess Drew's living a double life. Needs to satisfy his need for speed.

Nice shots. Especially like the F40 wheel and the 512M. No 550 Maranello's, though?

Hmmmm ... no I guess. Sorry I am a complete thicko when it comes to identifying cars and parts. I went along as a photographer rather than an enthusiast. Glad you like the images though.

Heh, nice username : )
No 550's at that meeting (the F40 was one of the drivers road cars!), but there were a few at the Euro GT meeting at Donington the day after. Unfortunately sorting the shots out is taking longer than expected - before DPC I would take 400 shots and immediately be able to throw 300+ away. Now I take 400 and can only throw 100 away on the first pass :-/

dasser - extremely small world. The 'Drew' shot was taken at the same GT meeting on Sunday!
I like that you got a lot of people shots - that's definitely my weakness. They tell much more of a story to the average (non petrolhead) viewer.

No 550's at that meeting (the F40 was one of the drivers road cars!), Oops sorry, thought he was referring to my shots (I wondered what wheel shot he was on about lol)

As for the small world, were the minis in the later races? I wanted to stay but everything was running late and i couldn't take the heat any longer!! Excellent day all the same.

BTW bod, good work with the Rivi and Chorley landscapes in your folio. Let me guess - Chorley-based? (Bolton, soon-to-be Swinton meself).

The minis were on just before the GTs - probably while you were in the paddock getting those shots!

I doubt you missed too much later on. The very last race was cancelled, and the last race that actually ran only went on for 4 laps. The heat was a killer, but as we'd spent 90 minutes in a 4 mile traffic jam outside the circuit I wasn't going to leave till the very end!

The Chorley pics give it away m8. If you're interested, there's quite a few pics of Bolton in my folio, especially the flea market and architecture you might be interested in.

The architecture shots are excellent. DPcem02 & 03 especially - great use of light. Some of the market shots are very moody. The rainy B&Ws capture Northern England perfectly!

Going back to the photo that started this thread - I'm gonna mention Drew every time I post a shot. 160 views and still rising!!!
