This was my entry for backlighting II. I do wonder if I should have entered one of these instead.


I was going for a framed shot with the entry but have recieved comments that the tree was too distracting.. Ohh well...Did I make a mistake in your opinion?

no body wanted to reply when I posted the ones I forgot to enter either. I think the tree may be a bit distracting, I like your placement of the barn better in the entry but I think that I like the second outake better. It has more color in the sky and I like how you can see the sky through the whatever it is on the left side. Lovely pictures though and you finished pretty well, out of so many entries.

Edward, I agree with Kivet; I prefer your second outtake for the same reasons and because it seems to fit the challenge better - light coming from behind; light seems to be shining through the building on the far left.

Definitely the on second one. Again, same reasons and it's just more dynamic. As in it has more character than just a landscape at sunset/rise.
