I thought I would start a little fun here by letting us all share those little cute graphics we all know as the smiley!

I've seen the popcorn lots of times, and the big grins, etc. But let's see what else is out there and how we can all have some giggles with them.

If this is not allowed by council, please lock the thread up, and I apologize, but I know these little guys make me smile. Surely we can all use a smile! :)

So let's get this ride going!

It may be cute to add a little pun like I just did with your own smiley!

For a link to a site where you can choose your favorites you can go HERE, but there are several sites out there.

You just pick one, right click on it, save it, then put it at a site such as photobucket.com, and place the URL for the image here!

Have some fun!

I didn't have to register. Just save it, unless it tells you you can't, there really isn't a problem.

idnic, I LOVE that one!!! I hope you share the link! I am dying to see what else they have.

Sure beats my little dancer!

Just wanted to clarify that your thread is just fine. Let's just try and limit the use of these in other threads as they aren't everyone's cup of tea. Thanks. :)

Well...to be honest I think they are annoying as hell and to be totally honest...childish as in they are something I would expect kids to be using not adults. Just my opinion. I wish there was a way to not view them when people post them.

Hmmm, well it is hard to figure out the problem from this end unless I could see what the problem is. If you mean photobucket, yes you have to register? You shouldn't be having a problem saving the smileys though.

Once upon a time there was a thread about whether it was legal/illegal, ethical/unethical to lnk to smileys. Something about who pays for the bandwidth? Does anyone remember what the outcome was?

Most sites for smileys are free and you can use them free. Yahoo has them, and many others. I provided the link I used particularly, which is really what most companies only ask for in return. So it is legal. I don't see what can be so unethical about it if the URL you are getting them from is getting promoted. Therefore, it also ends the legal aspect as well.

I wasn't here for the outcome of some other thread, but this thread is for a light touch, and having dealt with issues like this in the past as to legal and illegals in this regard, I know it is really of no circumstance as long as you post a link. That is the proper etiquette when using anything from a website in which a "save as" is possible.

However, if anyone feels uneasy about it, and likes my smileys, then just use my own URL's to image by right clicking on my smileys posted.

Here is another! A different version of the group hug!

There's a bunch in the Good Evening thread - if someone wanted to be bothered to grab them and post them in here. They are scattered throughout the first 10 pages or so.
