I just completely reprocessed my entry from scratch and uploaded it. I see a significant improvement, so I'm relatively happy. Let the games begin!

haha...i took my photo last august and had it edited then.
All I did was upload and submit...
Tonight's gunna be a good one, I have two challenge starting. Should be some good times.

Well right now there are 739 Pictures and i dont know when ill be able to vote on them or all of them but i cant wait to see them....... because i really dont have a 'Best Of' cuz i just signed up at the end of the year sooo i can't wait to see what went on before i signed up Good Luck to everyone =)

Well, I just uploaded my entry. With only 700+ entries in this challenge I feel pretty confident that I'll finally get a blue ribbon. It's about damn time too.

It only need be one you shot during 2005 with a digital camera. I don't believe exactly when you joined DPC is of any relevance. |

Wow, quite a few entries...
My only hope is that the DNMC Nazis won't go around saying, "This is NOT the photographer's best shot taken in 2005. I'm sure they have way better photos than that. DQ!! DQ!!"

I'd like to add that I for one will not lower a score on a photograph that I might have seen before in forums, etc, since this is the best of 2005 afterall. This isn't like the other challenges, and in my opinion if you can't vote honestly on a familiar photograph then move on to the next one... there's plenty to vote on in this one. Good luck to all. |

| Well, I personally would feel great if I can score at least a 5. This is definitely the clearest, most saturated, best detailed photo, but it is the interest factor that always seems to bring my score down. Maybe my title will help it. I don't expect to be last, but I am entereing anyway, even if I end up in the bottom 10%. Somebody has to. |

I did something similar. Had forgotten I did not title the photo (other than a generic place holder). Then I looked at the photo again and decided it needed to be re-done. I better not look at it again before the voting starts or I will either feel the urge to re-do or pull it.
Can't believe the amount of entries, though.
