Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM

Hi all,

I'm building my new site on Saturday and I need a logo for my company. The site is going to be all black and white, very punk, artsy, edgy but still simple.

I'm looking for a logo basically using just the initials or something else innovative - could be a completely unrelated symbol.

I'm searching the depths of my brain and, oddly, coming up empty *giggle*

Hi Lori.

Logo/grapic design is not something I do alot of, but I wanted to play around with the concept. Here is what I did.

Definitely prefer this one....but my advice, drop the word "Photography" a few pixels lower and to the right. Increase border on the right.

the last graphic calliopekel posted (just the black part with the LM inititals) is more the direction I'm looking. I don't want the full name in the logo. When I find one I love, it'll go on my car, t-shirts, and whatever else I decide to use for branding so the smaller the better!

are these people getting paid or a free 11x17 print of their choice or something for creating your logo?
The logo will be going everywhere as you said and they wont be getting credit unless you are putting their name on everything as credit..

True but it is fun to help and Iam really bored with my job. Plus I have spent a grand total of 5 mins putting it together so at my hourly rate, if she uses it, she owes me $5.00

I still need to figure out how to make my images display in the posts any help on that would be great

Everyone's done a great job of suggesting stuff so far, sans gun to their heads.

It's not even a matter of that I'm looking for a free, perfect logo. I'm just more looking for ideas, maybe someone has a great vision that I hadn't even thought of yet! Artists aren't all about money and retribution, and I do consider people here artists.

I think (think being the operative word) that if you click on the third little icon in (the one with an aqua square in the middle) and then copy/paste in your link it should appear in your post!

So, if you take their idea and use it, or change it slightly to say you designed it they dont get a print or payment of any kind?
