A friend of mine sent me some snapshots with a Kodak Easyshare the other day... the color and sharpness were actually pretty impressing.

My little Sony DSC-P32 took a ribbon-winning pic... I still love that little camera. I wish I could find it...it's been "filed" somewhere in my oldest son's room. ;)

I took that with my ghetto Nikon Coolpix 950...a whole 2.1 megapixels. And yet it is my best scoring photo ever on here....go figure:P

It's pretty amazing when you see a camera take a good shot.

... and I always thought it was the photographer. What do I know? ;o)

NIKON COOLPIX 2500 (2 megapix) .....The macros on this are outstanding, here's a sample. They are sharp as a tack. I've updated , however I'll never part with this little gem as I struggle even now to get sharp macros close to this quality !

yaa when cameras were not discovered, photographers were the only one who took the good photos.

Sony U10. I like the picture, but I had to edit the hell out of it to get a half way decent result. That thing is a real noise machine and you can't adjust any settings.

My daughter has taken some very nice shots with a refurbished 2MP Canon Powershot A60. These were from her first day with the camera (age 6).

(The first photo was obviously taken with another camera).
