This is too much fun! Some of them remind me of old fashioned paper weights. This passion flower is my first try.

a little question..

why is the background color so solid and so matching with the circle? The background color selected in PS doesn't matter, I tried red and my circle came out just the same
12/17/2005 07:01:09 PM · #82
its a colour from the photo, it creates it when the program does its thing

this is addicting!

Does anyone remember the AT&T commercial in the early 90's that was their rebuttal to MCI's "Calling Circle" program? They used to always say "I'm sick of circles!" or as my then two-year old son accurately quoted it "...sick of soicles!"

Made from .
Now that is pretty cool.

P.S. If you have PSP 8.0, Effects > Distortion Effects > Polar Coordinates. I don't know if someone menioned it, but this thread got so long, I was just to lazy to read through it.

this one came out pretty cool. its was just a macro shot of a yellow reflector on a bicyle.

I have looked at these shots and a lot of them are very interesting and good shots. However, I find your method of creating them to be very cumbersome. I guess that is a PS thing. I can create these exact images/type images in PI literally with one keystroke using pinch, punch, or ornament. All of which are tweakable and all of which when tweaked right will do this. PS doesn't have these type commands?

I have no idea but it takes seconds to record the 3 steps in PS into an action which is then very quick to use so... hardly a chore.

Also, some of the ones created on other software seem to be doing something slightly different - also very cool but a different effect.

I've been playing around with this some more and came up with these:

This one is done by slight variation from the original method, but I was quite interested in the result - it looks like the duck is going through an hour glass:

The duck was done using my most recent free study entry, and there are actually two ducks in the orginal, though the end result looks like one duck.

Hourglass duck! COOL!
And Longlive... WOWOWOW!
