Many people think that my picture is fake. I can see why you would think that but I can assure you that it is not.

If you check these pictures out you can see what I mean:
Picture 1
Picture 2
Picture 3
Picture 4
Picture 5

That's great arnit! My favorite is picture 4. For what it is worth, I never thought your picture was fake and rated it high. I'm going through the same thing myself with the quarter picture. I think some people think it is fun to try and prove something can't be done. When you show these pictures it proves them wrong and shows how easily you achieved the effect. I need to look through my rejected photos and see if I can find some proof in them too.

I'll rest my case if I can ever get the link to the picture on here.

I didn't think the quarter pic was fake? Did other people? That's weird!

Oh yeah, and I rest my case. Now if ya'll vote it down, do it cause you don't like the picture not because you think it is fake.

I'm against it when people reveal their pictures before the voting is over but in this case I thought it had to be done. Because I was getting alot of comments that said they thought it was fake.

Here is a picture that I took that same day:
Check it out

My suggestion is if you think a photo is fake, rate it like it's not -- but recommend it for disqualification so we can look into it!

Good solution.

I have had some comments in that vein also. I hope that means that I did a commendable job on my shot. Had a number of people ask how I did it and it is in the comments that I submitted with the entry, so all should be able to see in due course.

Number 4 is my favorite! You know he is waiting for that toaster to come down...lol I liked your photo when I voted because I know this can be done:-) All it takes is a little imagination to get a cool shot and maybe a hard hat....:-)I always keep some rejected photos to show how I made the shot.

I'm having the same problem. People think I cut and paste the fire onto the guy in my picture. I also have pictures to disprove this, but I chose not to post them until the voting is over.

Maybe we need a challenge titled: Real or Fake. You could take a set up picture or an authentic picture (your choice) and have everyone guess. Anything to get it out of their systems.

lol, i would almost rather it was fake. that poor poor guy. what a saint to sacrifice himself for your photography!!!

Why is everyone assuming these pictures are fake? It's easier to just take a photo of something flying through the air than it is to effectively composiie a scene like that together and get the scale, lighting, shadows, and blending all to look seamless. Yeesh!

The only thing that would make me think the picture was fake would be how sharp and clean the picture was. Very nice camera dude.

I wish people wouldn't keep revealing their pictures. It could lead to biased votes in some cases. That and it's like ruining the surprise when the final votes are announced.

I thought that was what we were supposed to achieve technically.

we are. but reading the reviews, some cameras are reknowned for how almost supernaturally clean, noiseless, and sharp their images are
