It's not up yet - even if you type it in manually.

It looks like the admins haven't actually posted the tutorial yet.

I would really like to know if anyone really tries it out with the images available to download.... Any feedback would be appreciated.

Also, like I mentioned, this is just only one of many ways to the same goal, so I would also love to hear about any other methods anyone has. One can never stop learning.

i just gave it a go and did pretty good. i didn't spend the time i needed creating a good path, so it was spotty, at best. i'm not real fond of the pen tool. it's proper use escapes me (meaning i'm dumb)

there were, in the tutorial, a couple of skill level assumptions that you made that you might want to spell out for those of us with less experiance in PS. Case in point would be "Activate the image layer mask"... took me a min or three to figure out how to do this properly. a few definitions and basics might help. (ie what is a mask? what does it mean to rasterize a mask?)

as for alternative methods, the all of the cloning i did for the gauntlet challenge was the age old method of setting the layer opacity to 50%ish and erasing background. you do lose those pixels, but there are fewer steps to remember...

over all, a good job on the tutorial... thanks for teaching me some new tricks...

@ kudzu: Cheers, I will try to make the next tutorial simpler. Sometimes it is difficult to know how much experience DPC'ers have with Photoshop. I tried to go with a middle line of users, not advanced and not beginners. Next time I will lean more towards the begginer's sector.

Great tutorial. I like how you chose a composition that deliberately overlaps so much. Well done.
