In the "giving" spirit of the season, who wants to pledge to give 5 constructive comments over the weekend (more is better) to photos in the Browse Least Commented Photos list?

I will do so, and hope others will join in. There are a lot of photos with zero comments!

Just make sure that your efforts are not for nothing. Try to make sure that the photographer is actively participating (either by checking the last challenge entered, last forum post, or last uploaded photo date).

Is there any way to tie this list to active members, say some activity in the last month or two.

I'd just hate wast comments on people who have dropped off the site, and are never going to see them, versus people who are currently active, and yearning for comments and critiques...

Maybe something like an open comment bucket could be set up like the critique club, but just for people who uploaded something and are forum shy...

just a thought.

I got carried away and did ten, I wish I didn't keep coming up against the "This image is owned by a user who is no longer a member with us and therefore not viewable." though, seems that we have lost some really nice photos through people going off
:(

I just did five. I'll do some more later too. If everyone joined in, there wouldn't be any non-commented images left in pretty short order, so hop on board!

I promise at least 20 before Monday and at least 5 a day until Christmas eve. What a wonderful reminder of the spirit of DPC by one of it's great members!

I did 5 and will try to do at least 5 each day this weekend (after basketball, cheerleading, shopping, photo printing, Christmas parties, etc... ) Wish me luck!!

Ok, I did my 5 for today! Interesting side note/bug: my critiques given counter is stuck! When I started it was 2181, and it still is! I don't know how long it's been stuck.

Heres the counters. I know helpful is sort of working because it went up 1 this morning:

# Made: 2181
# Helpful: 1926

Well I knock out a lot of photo's from that list and will do more later. I find that a lot of people are not longer with the DPC, I hope it was not because they did not get any reviews.
I also wonder if this is a sight to help people with their photo's why are there so many photo's without comments. Even if it is not the greatest should we not help people out so they know what to do and not do. I always find myself in the browse photo's area comment on shots, after all isn't that where you find the photo's that people like to shoot. I mean it was done outside a challenge so this is what interest the individual.
