I am concidering purchasing one of the above camera's.
Any comments re if you think they would be a good buy |

for more than a year im using the fuji f810 and e550 wich i think are quite simular to the models u mentioned and i think they use comparable ccds and have simular constructions
i experienced these are very practical cams i think wich have enuff quality to produce any 150kb image for DPchallenge purposes or even make razorsharp prints up to a4
but in my case i have to mention that both cams soon suffered from very annoying dust on the ccd wich results in a little nasty black spot visible on almost every image (think it depends from what angle it catches the light) wich can be a real problem for basic entries
i had to sent both cams back to Fuji for fixing the problem a few times and in the end they replaced both cams for brandnew ones. One of the newly replaced cams shows the same problem already and i wrote a complaint to Fuji but they never answered my email about this problem
maybe its because im not very cautious in the handling of the cams that this dust problem occurs so easily in my case
further than that and apart from the tastefull design i really like the cams for their speedy and practical use
hope my opinion is any good to u for making a good choice
