Update note number 2! At last count we have filled 44 wishes! WOW!!!

Update note If you guys make a connection via PM, could you let me know to update the list? Thanks!

I saw this on Livejournal and wondered if it could work here - I'm hearing GREAT success stories about LJ so...post your list. And see what happens.
-------------
Step One

- Make a post to this thread. The post should contain your list of up to 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

Step Two

- Surf around your friends lists to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

-------------------------------------------
UPDATED LIST - If you are sending someone something, post it to the list so I can mark it filled.

Hmmm - I feel pretty selfish about this, but here's my Christmas wish list for photography equipment (used is fine):
- 62 mm neutral density filter (for waterfall photos,
etc)
- 77mm Circular polarizer filter
- Nikon SB-800 Speedlight, or SB-80DX Speedlight
- 105mm F2.8 MACRO lens (Sigma or Nikkor)

Book or magazine that contains inspiring photos of nature and wildlife.

I'd love to try some of other papers for my artistic prints, such as Innova Soft Cotton, or anything else you all have had good results on; I'm using the Canon i9100 printer, 13x19 format.

A publisher who would consider publishing a poetry/photography book that my sister and I have created. This is my sister's dream project. I'm along for the ride at her invitation.

I only mean this thread in a good way - if I have a filter you need, I'll send it along. I don't have many but almost never use them so I'll go look. If we can do these things - why not? :)

Don't feel selfish about it! :) Please add up to 10 things to your list and we'll all see what we have the ability to do.

1) A rust-free, accident-free miata of any vintage, original paint in any colour but yellow. Bonus if it has a limited slip, extra bonus if it has the Torsen. Preferred w/out power windows or a/c, and absolutely no automatics! :)

2) A couch. Free of odours and mysterious stains, and ideally not in a hideous flower pattern. I like old, sinky couches!

3) A Nikko Gamma I or Gamma II tuner (late '70s?) to match my Alpha II & Beta II amp and preamp. One of their old single-disc cd-players wouldn't go astray either.

4) Nikon glass. Anything and everything!

5) A garage.
