It really hurts doesn't it - I just hate it when you have a picture that is doing well and people give it such low votes - it is seems like it must be out of spite or something.
Mine was in the mid 6's and someone slammed it with a 2 and then a 3 - it really knocked my score for a loop.
I'm just about ready to turn my scores and go to the happy place where everyone gets 9.8. |

yeah? i wish everyone with a 6+ score would go ahead and run off to the happy place and take their photos with them...
that way, my 5+ mediocrity would be closer to a ribbon...

I must be worse than I thought - I only got an 8 for meeting the challenge.
It figures though. My Industrial entry is above 6.1 and I was concerned it would be below 5. I thought my Free Study entry would be around 6, and its currently at 4.75. I'm clearly out of touch... |

Well, myabe it was not "free" enough? Perhaps there's a trace of inhibition still adhering to the image? Or maybe it's TOO free and not studious enough?
Clearly, the key here is to study the whole issue of freedom and make a statement about it that is in no way trammeled by convention.
When you look at it that way, it's simply amazing how many people utterly do NOT meet the challenge in this particular "free study".

Bad News: I just spent the last two hours on a very boring business call that I needed to attend "just in case"...
Good News: I used this opportunity to vote on ALL the Free Study entries!
Bad News: I get to spend the rest of the week trying to find time to go back and leave comments (which I will!!) - it's hard be on a call with Japan and try to leave meaningful comments on pictures at the same time (as least for me). :-)
Outstanding collection of pictures everyone! I wish I would have gone with a different entry. :-( Next time.... |

Thanks for your comment G :D I'm not sure why I used this Free Study as a means to experiment but I did. I should have stayed with my normal images :) Oh well. When else to learn right?
