Hi Everyone,
I have been watching and learning for a while now and thought I'd finally join. What a wonderful website, it's great trying to think of ideas for the challenges. Anyway, I have entered my 1st Challenge, not sure how I'll go, enjoying the feedback I'm getting on it though. I'd like to get some thoughts on the following photos I took at my brothers wedding, the little girl is my daughter and my son is the one on the right. Thoughts and comments appreciated.
Thanks all

Welcome!

I really like the first one!

They are both nice photos. They are 100% in focused, the levels seem perfect so I am not sure what more I can say.

I like the effect you have used with the first one. It looks cool.

Good luck in the future. You look like you have a great eye there.

The first one is great.

Try moving in closer on the second one, or make a tighter crop. Or perhaps if a different angle from one side might have filled the frame a bit.

Also, the lighting is not as interesting in the second one. In the first one you've got a better range of tones and shadows.
