I agree, I have been using PixelPost (albiet fully customised) since July, with the aim of adding one new image every day - haven't missed a day yet. (Although having the ability to future post is the saviour there).

Check it out at //seriocomic.com and don't forget to add me as a favourite on photoblogs! :)

It's a version thing - That was added in the newer version - the older version had blogger instead and needed a hello account.

Got it!

My blog

....now, why am I doing one of these?
11/26/2005 11:16:51 PM · #6
Everything is sending me to some default program called Hello.

I'm re-downloading Picasa....not through the Blog sites link.

Some fancy things seem to happening so maybe it will work. I'll keep you posted and thanks for the help.

11/26/2005 10:42:13 PM · #8
Thanks for the PM and no...it isn't working.

In both the Blog site and Picassa I've hit every screen...drop down menu...tab...and there are NO words, icons or anything that resemble what's stated in all the tutorials or even pop-up windows that match.

I can see it now...me standing right behind the worlds leading blog site designer...watching him stare at my screen scratching his head...mumbling..."that's really wierd...I've never seen this before"
11/26/2005 10:39:54 PM · #9
still there? any luck?
11/26/2005 09:55:38 PM · #10
okay, I have no idea what happened there.

Picasa2 should have a blog this button when you select a picture....
11/26/2005 09:28:10 PM · #11
I just downloaded Picassa and see no way to share...or link button and on the Posting/Create tab there is no toolbar, no eraser and..no image icon....

Yow! I'm either blind or....sumthin

I'm gonna take a pic on my screen...

tough to see but there there is no toolbar, no eraser and..no image icon....

Download Picasa, it is the easiest freaking thing in the world once you have that.

Otherwise, go into the Create under the Posting tab. On the toolbar next to the eraser theres a little image button that allow you to upload one. Otherwise, you can put a link in to wherever else you choose to host them. But it's easier and cleaner just to upload to the blogger servers.

Thanks for that link - I love the style of these. I have been trying to force myself to use really different angles and David obviously has a nack for this.

ya think? I'm amazed by the quality of work that he puts into every picture he posts. even ones with subjects like like abandoned tires.

I've dropped off DPC recently because I started focusing on my photoblog. And because my membership ran out and I'm broke. Unfortunately, I'm terrible about actually putting a new one up every day.

//savoir.photopholio.com is mine, if anyone cares to see it. I'd love any feedback, and would be happy to return in kind :)

If you're looking to start up a new one, I recommend www.my-expressions.com, which is what I use. It's all automated, but it's also all customizable, so it's pretty handy for beginners or CSS whizzes alike.

Judith's blog is really neat. While I recognize her as a DPC member, I hadn't really taken the time to look through her work before. It's no wonder she has so many favorites there! Nice work, Judith. (Although we may have to move this over to Rant and rename it something political to get her to read it. ;) )

heh, It's easy. Just post a picture that you took. The challenge is separating the stuff for DPC from the blog.

also //www.photoblogs.org/profile/judithpolakoff.us/ is Judith Polakoff, with a really good photoblog. Great country feel to her stuff.

see my sig. :o) just updated today after slacking.

Your restaurant shot (in the Flickr slideshow) freaked me out. I didn't realize it was a slide show and I was looking at the shot..glanced away, glanced back and suddenly there was a man there that wasn't before. I was, whoa, what the...! Then I finally realized, when another picture came up, that it was a slideshow. It's late. I'm tired!

It says she entered two cahllenges this month, and three last month. Looks like whe may have dropped off for a while though.

I will say, her pictures work more when put into the context of just a picture, instead of a "challenge picture". Seeing them all on her blog is more like an experience, and gives you a better appreciation for her work.
