I was thinking about how I found this website and can't remember... maybe through Stumbleupon.com, but I don't think so. A friend told me? A magazine? Nah... I really have no clue. Do you?

Nope! One day I was happy and ignorant, then I ended up here every night.

I wanted to be a part of photography loving people, online. I googled and found DPC. I saw a few pictures that I really liked and thought I would really like their company. I joined. I am still here.

Legalbeagle told us about the site when he won his blue ribbon and we decided that since we couldn't beat him we'd join him. We used to joke about him taking his camera everywhere and now we are as "bad" as he is if not worse!

I was shooting in a Blizzard a week after I bought my D70 and took a break at a Diner for some coffee when a guy sat next to me with a tripod and a D70....so I couldn't resist chatting.

He taught me how to play with my White Balance along with a bunch of other tips and recommended that I check out DPC and Nikonians for info and the competitions.

Within three weeks, I was fully addicted.

I had some strange ring artifacts in some northern lights photos, and googled to try to find out what they were ("Newton's rings"). Found the answer in a DPC thread. So, here I am. *wave*

Although she doesn't know it, I can blame Sonifo for my addiction. She was on a Christian Photographer website my sister hung out on and she mentioned DPC. My sister told me about it. Once I logged on there was no turning back.

Sonifo, since you're to blame for this, you can make it up to me by loaning me your kids for the Nov Free Study :)
