How many DPCers either have or have heard of ExpoDisc? //www.expodisc.com/products/product_detail.aspx?id=MTAwMQ== I was curious if it was worth buying. Thanks!

I brought it up here but don't have one. I've seen the advertisement on multiply photo magazines.

An interesting idea. I can understand what they're trying to do. It would be an interesting DIY project, perhaps good white bond paper and plastic from a fluroescent light panel mounted in a filter holder.
I also wonder what your AF would think about it.

edit: If there's some engineer types out there who might like to discuss a few ideas about this PM me :)

I have one, 67mm and I think it is by far the best method for setting WB. I have tested it indoors and out and it is solid, I never have to move the wb slider afterwards.

Best regards,

I have been using a 77mm version for a couple of years and love it. The only place where a grey card seems to be more accurate is in oddly mixed lighting. In that instance, I not only set WB with card, but also have someone hold the card up so I can include it in a test image.

I do think it's overpriced however.
