I just saw that there's one more day to get 30% off at ofoto.com for your own custom calendars using your own photos. I like this idea for a Christmas gift. I used to make and print my own, but they've made it so easy. Does anyone else do this?
(oops...meant to post this in "general" section)

I bought 2 last week, couldn't be happier with the quality (4MP from my olympus and a couple from my 350XT). |

Yes, Cafepress offers the service of printing up calendars - You can either have this as a Private Account of which only you the Artist/Photographer can access and buy (I think it is called Direct to Print where it does not go into the general marketplace).
Base Price for a Wall Calendar is 14.99 and right now they are offering to have free shipping on all orders of $50 or more up to 12/6/05. Earlier they had a deal of take $2.00 off any item which expired over a week ago...not useful info right now, but it might be for next year:-)
I have created my own wall calendar which I am purchasing for myself and family as a gift for the holidays - but I am also bantering around the idea of making it available to the public since it features many of my art prints such as "Rainy Daisy Days"......
***The only drawback with any of these calendar making services is that they do not mark the holidays on the calendars - you have to do that yourself. |
