How many people in this website are interested in film directing as well as photography? Just wondering because the both of them are very similar. by the way, I updated my profile for all those waiting on the edge of their seats for me to (lol).

| I had intended to begin a Photography/Film degree this coming fall but the department was full before I get all of application material in. So I'll study Mass Communications instead. |

| I have done some movie-making. It's my passion. But the more I learn, the more I don't want to be Director. Too big a headache. But I'd do virutally anything else. I love the whole process - especially editing. That person has almost as much control over the look and feel of the movie as the director, producer, art director, etc. |

No directing, but editing, film photography and pyrotechnics. And yes, they are related, but similary very, very different.

i concentrated on Film Studies for my degree.

| I was going to be a film director, but that includes much more than just shooting the camera, if at all. It looked like too much of a headache. However, cinematography sounds fun! |

Aside from the low-budget, indi scene or the special circumstance. The director is rarely behind the camera. And it seems now even the DP isn't behind the camera, depending on the shot and budget ofcourse. But yes, my ultimate goal is to direct or DP. So for now I am writing and taking photos. I'll get there someday, maybe tomorrow, maybe 10 years from now.
