My first idea for self portrait was boring. Another moody black and white, like my other self portraits i've submitted in the past. I didn't really want to do this but I didn't have any other ideas. Here is my first outtake which I was going to enter before I decided that it wasn't up to my normal standards. It wasn't sharp enough, it was under-exposed, etc.

Outtake 1

Then I started playing around with light and got a few different effects. One of my possible entries was this one, which was meant to be a comical kinda representation of me falling.

Outtake 2

I finally decided to enter this photo tho.

Caricature!

And for those of you who are interested in how I did it, here is an outtake that happened by accident when I forgot to turn off the flash on my camera.

What A freak :)

That's really cool. I like the black and white one too. I like the one you entered best because of the shadowed smile.
Here is my "setup". Not really much too it. I used window light and flash. I didn't like the plain ol color one, so desaturated it and adjusted brightness and contrast. That's all.
