Dear DPC members,

I have been a member of DPChallenge since years. Photography started with me by chance when i saw a Canon eos 300 camera on a shelf at my Girlfriend's room. She told me you can borrow it and try to shoot some photos... and it became my passion since then, and offcourse i bought my own Camera...

i have published a Website that holds my work for the past 3 years, most of them were shot in Lebanon. Now i moved to Paris for studies, and i am looking forward to update within months with a Paris coverage.

i would love to have your feedback on it.

Thank you.

Not too bad. No real exciting layout, but it works.
Minor nitpicks: when i click on Contact, i'd rather see a page that gives me options rather than having an email window pop open.

also, when i click on a pic, i get a new window that pops up and part of it has a yahoo add so the pic is not displayed without me needing to either scroll or drag the window bigger.

Nice work. I like the b&w shots the best/

Prof Fate,

thanks, i know i will work on hosting the website as soon as i get the new protfolio, its kinda annoying with the popup windows....

however i am concerned with the feedback on the photos, the techincal stuff can be solved later. thanks again.

Hello the only thing that bothers me is the ads running on the right. I have used Yahoo and the Geocities for many sites I have running. If you pay them $5 per month you get no ads running on the sides of your pages, it's worth it to keep people on your pages. You can also give them $9 per month and that will give you a domain name and you will loose the ads and it will give you more tools to build with.Good luck

I have a couple of sites on yahoo geocities. I highly recommend upgrading to geocities pro. You will get rid of all of the ads and you will be able to have your own domain name (eg. www.sergeyasmine.com)...

Both of my websites are currently under construction, but there are a lot more options available to you for designing when you go pro. and, your website will look more professional.

Awesome pics and good luck on building your site.

I didn't care for the yahoo window on the side..maybe if your site was white and not black it wouldn't be so bad. It was hard to keep my eyes focused on your pictures. You can become a paying member for a small amount a month to get ride of it.
