im thinking of buying a lighting kit for portraits and maybe start practicing on fashion shoot. Would this be a good starting kit. Would it be powerfull and adequate enough? the kit is 549.00$canadian

Be patient Lucas......tis the weekend and many are out shooting, spending time with family and friends. Wouldn't have the foggiest about your list as I don't have any of them......but does look like a good deal with the kit.

I'm no expert on flash junk, so I don't know how good the quality of what you are getting is... but it seems that for less than 500USD you are getting quite a bit of stuff. It's definitely a good starting point, then as you begin to reaccumulate funds you can add to the set up or slowly upgrade different pieces.

I don't know how helpful this is, but if nothing else it serves as another bump (I share your frustrations sometimes) so the experts can answer.
