Well, folks, I did it. Every single person who entered a self-portrait has at least one comment, because I commented on every single self-portrait entry.

I may have been brief sometimes, and didn't always know exactly what to say, but I wanted to acknowledge all of you for being brave enough to put who YOU are out there to be judged. I didn't enter anything in the challenge myself. Just couldn't think of a good way to express myself, and I'm really impressed with how many different ways you guys found!

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know: if you disagree with my comments on your photo, that's fine. Take a look at my profile. I don't score all that high, so feel free to disregard any advice. And if you DO agree with my comment, that's good, because one day I *will* score higher. Guaranteed. ;)

I learned a lot from making comments -- now let's see if I can put that into practice. Thank you and goodnight!

Carolee - I thought your comment was great, especially when you finished off by saying "This is awesome". Really meant a lot to me, especially for my first challenge entry :)
I had a go and commented on about half. I really think you learn a lot when studying all the pics. Things that you see you would do different, ideas that you like, etc etc. Really makes you want to get out there and take more photos and to put some of those techniques you've just thought about in to practice.
Good job on commenting on all 224 entries - sounds like an exhausting task !!

Ah, I'm glad you brought this up. When you ask a question in your comment, is it rhetorical or are you looking for an answer? I never know whether it is appropriate to respons during the challenge, or afterwards or just leave it alone. TIA

Is that a rhetorical question? ;) (kidding) Usually, I'm hoping that the photographer has already put something in the submission comments that will answer my question. Sometimes I get a PM with the answer, and sometimes the question answers itself after the challenge. If you feel like answering mine, that's great, and if you don't feel like it that's fine too. It's mostly just me telling the photographer that I was thinking "hmm, question question question" as I was looking at their work. How's that for a non-answer? :)
