I have a feeling people will either love or hate this one...

Challenge title: Favorite songs

Description: Take your favorite song (or just a song you like) and create a photo which expresses the subject/meaning of that song. The title of your photo should be the name of the song and the artist, or a lyric snippet and the artist.

And no, I'm not suggesting this because I have a good idea for it. :) Just seems like this could inspire some creativity.

Or madness. Take your pick. :)

Cool idea. I think we should keep it to song title and artist. Some lyrics can be cryptic and open to misinterpretation. As some keep pointing out, we're just a bunch of morons who can't catch the meaning of photos, just imagine the mess that would happen when combining images to lyrics

Song titles was done in Dec. 2003. Maybe it's time for a revisit?

I like the idea. :)

How do you search challenge titles to see if your idea has been done before? I have a whole bunch of ideas, but I've been trying to post only the ones I think are least likely to have been done.

Yes - I think you're right. Just stick to titles. Else, we'll be getting the most obscure stuff with the least obvious meaning and no way to fairly vote.

It's under challenges on the top menu, "challenge history". Or click this. :)

Better yet, why not narrow the genre and make the challenge something like "Greatest Hits of the 80's" or something ;-)

I kinda like the idea of narrowing it to a specific era - makes it more interesting...
