I'm going to get a lot of "too white" comments, too (especially if monitors aren't calibrated correctly, as I saw to my horror on a computer at school). If I hadn't done it like so, people would say, "too grey".

me and jessiroo(my now 10yo) worked her entry this morning and sumbitted. she took it yesterday when she got home from school and i had left my lights set up for her just in case she wanted to enter this one too. well...lets just say she has a real good chance of beating me on this challenge. I was very surprised at how great her photo was. not sure if i could have gotten the same subject the way she did!what really worries me is we only had to do very minimal basic(all auto) stuff....i had to play with all my settings(eeek!) Im so anxious(sp?) to get this one started

this just means that you will be one of those people saying "this was one of my best entries so far" "i really thought this would do better" meanwhile your score is at a 4 or 5...I hope i'm wrong. Good Luck!

4's are a rarity for me (check my avg.)... Current "Reflections" challenge notwithstanding. ;-)

OK, now I'm teetering on cockiness so I'll stop. I realize I may get some low votes on my next entry due to the nature of the photo. That's OK too. Personally I think it's one of my best entries (fits challenge well, technically good photo). As far as I'm concerned I think it's better than the one's I usually enter. No amount of low voting and bad comments will change that! Still I won't complain if it happens.
