I know this topic has been done to death, but I can't seem to find any relevant threads at the moment...
I'd like to put some of my photos up on a stock photography site, and I'm looking for advice which to use. My photos are starting to shape up, but they're not great yet so I guess I'm looking for a medium quality site. Also, can I put the same photo on multiple sites? If I sell a photo off of one site, do I have to take it down from the others? Any other advice?

Here's my link to ShutterStock.
Most of the sites are the same -- non-exclusive, with varying terms. SS is a "microstock" site -- low payout/download but a model which encourages high volume of downloads.

I'm in the process of registering with iStockPhoto (get someone else's referral link for that one), which has similar guidelines. They'll take smaller photos (e.g. 2MP).

The most popular rights-managed site seems to be Alamy. You'll still have to carefully upsample your images for them.

I am like you. Recently, I started uploading photos to dreamstime.com and shutterstock.com. You can upload the same pictures at both sites. However, there have been times where a photo will be accepted at one site but not the other. Good luck!
