I shot for hours today, wonderful weather so drove to a favorite location (with the new camera and its dandy new 75-300). Here is 2 of zillions, but my fav 2. Would love to know which you prefer.

The first one is composed very nicely, but in the second one, man the colors and the pose just really grab your attention!

The second one definitely, but I didn't like how it was cropped off the bottom. Nice and vivid though. |

2nd one. You might want to play with the background by desaturating to focus even more attention on the subject. |

lol you noticed the new lens eh? I found such a bargain yesterday I couldn't resist it. B&H has the 75-300 for ~$450, but Best Buy had one for $254. Its soooooooo mine! I know it has some limitations, but wow wow wow in the right situations it really rocks!
Thanks for the input guys. I too liked the first one's composition and 2nd one's colors. Tough call.

Both are quite good IMHO. Great focus & color tones. The 2nd one is a little disappointing with the bottom crop (leaves you wanting MUCH more), but I still have to go with it as my favorite. :-) |
