I'll tell ya one thing sice I work for a magazine (graphics).

Your text confuses viewers (visualy).
Our eyes can't koncentrate on the photo itself couse white text
leads us out of it.
Lower text should be smaller and darker.
Just a tip...

Oh yea, photo is gret but maybe composition too centered in adver type.
But don't take me too siriusly, you can always improve something in your photo. That way you'd never finish it.

I used to play around alot like you. Now PS became my job and
I enjoj it less and less every day. I wish it wasn't like that.
Now I look at everything from a different angle and judge photos
procesed in PS way too much. I always have something to critisize
(damn, my english sux:-))

I know alot of english people that can not speak (or type) it well I think your doing fine with it:)

Yea my spelling sux but good thing is that people can understand
the point no matter how wrong you spell it. So I don't have to
go google on every word I'm not sure about.

It becomes a pain when I have to write an important letter (e-mail)
for busines related issues... Takes 5 hours to type 1 page font 16 :)

Considering that I've seen so many people with english as a first language that still spell definitely with an A, I don't really think you have much to worry about. Of course, half of those couldn't tell you that the root word is finite either. That word is pet peeve of mine though. My biggest problem is that I type to fast and mess things sup :)

btw - did you know that sux is actually spelt sucks? hehe ;o)

It might could use a bit more contrast, seems a little flat. And if it were meant for advertising purposes, I would expect that you might want to have the ring on the cigar in the front or more in focus so that one can see the brand. Otherwise, I think it's nice. :-) Just my amature 2cents. :-)

I like the pic but what is the band across the top, it distracts my focus away from the main subject?? Is it the pattern or grain in the wood???

I think the cigar looks a bit washed out, it's like the colours are not vivid enough?
